Local flora resource available at the libraries

A fabulous book about local flora is available from the from the libraries. This is ‘Darlington and Surrounds: Local Flora and Bushlands’ by Cliff and Sharron Burns. If you ever wanted to identify that little purple flower that pops up at the bottom of your garden, or wondered about those plants with woody, spiky ends that have little ball-like bits and look something like a claw (Scented Bloodroot) – this is a fantastic resource! And best of all, it is free, having been produced to provide local residents with information and inspiration about the wonders to be found in our bushlands.
